Our Team

Young Entrepreneurs, Africa is a non-profit organization headquartered in Ghana. Our team consists of creative individuals driven by our passion for Africa and the belief that we can influence Africa’s social and economic destiny through its promising youth.

Lindy  - Co-founder/Executive Director
Lindy is a creative start-up fanatic! She is a lover of Africa and believes that entrepreneurship is the key to the development of the continent. Her addiction for all things creative and entrepreneurial and a deep passion for youth development inspired her to collaborate with Kobby to build a space where young people on the continent can develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Armed with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Africana Studies from Agnes Scott college, and wealth of experience from the media and non profit organizations she has worked with she is determined to turn YE,A into a world class organization.

Kobby  - Co-founder/Executive Director
Kobby is the Head of Sales of one of Africa’s largest Telecommunication companies. He holds an MBA candidate at London Business School. Prior to enrolling a London Business School, he spent three and a half years as an Associate in The Nielsen Company’s Emerging Leaders Programme and as a Director of Research in Nielsen’s media and entertainment consulting businesses. Kobby brings a lot of passion along with his project management and marketing experience to YE,A.

Fiona  - Marketing Director/Facilitator
Fiona’s affection for sustainable change through youth education started with tutoring young refugee students. This affection has transpired into involvement into other community programs, and of course, Y,EA.  She spent close to 5 years at Microsoft in Australia, Canada and UK in delivering successful marketing campaigns. With her marketing expertise blended with her passion for social change, Fiona is inspired to solve social problems through sustainable business practices.

What is her inspiration?
“I met Franklin, a 7 year old Salvadoran boy with the sweetest heart when I was volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in El Salvador. His family was one of the 50 families who would be the recipient of the homes we were building. Over the course of 2 weeks, I was in utter adoration of this kid. Saying goodbye to Franklin was incredibly difficult. He was sitting on my lap as they were giving goodbye talks to our group, tears just streamed down my face. Franklin took the tissue out of my hand, and wiped my face. Franklin represents being the best person I know how to be, loving wholeheartedly and giving generously of yourself. I am humbled by the world and the gracious people I share it with, always being grateful and inspired by Franklin.”

Arthur  - Finance Director/Facilitator

Ndidi – Facilitator
With over 9 years experience in business, teaching and coaching others, Ndidi has a wealth of knowledge and skills to transfer to our students.  She has taught in a variety of settings in the UK including private colleges and prisons and has developed a specialism for engaging harder to reach groups and training teaching professionals.  She teaches a wide range of subjects within personal development and career coaching, but her main academic background is in business studies and life coaching.  Ndidi has been involved in setting up her own business in street and niche trade and is currently in the process of growing that project.  She is keen to put her skills to good use on the YEA project and can bring her knowledge in entrepreneurship together with her teaching skills in planning and delivery.
